There are so many aspects to my life other than beauty. I love to shop, travel and cook as well. Here are all the other parts of my life that I love to experiment with and try new things.

    Date Box: Unity

I don’t know about you, but here in Colorado it is definitely feeling like fall. We have already had snow… TWICE! As much as I love fall with its pretty foliage, spiced drinks and delicious food, I am not a fan of winter. Other than Christmas, I find winter to be too cold and drab. For my husband and I, it seems like we fall into a little bit of a date rut. We are always following the same routine, especially when it comes to date night. Its too cold to be outdoors much so we go to the mall, have dinner, see a movie, and repeat. Thanks to Date…

6 Tips for Surviving Long Distance Relationships

We all know the saying “distance makes the heart grow fonder.” Personally, I really dislike that saying because it makes it sound like having a long distance relationship is easy. The reality of it is that being in a long distance relationship is hard; like really, really hard. It takes a lot of trust and confidence to make it through. My husband and I started dating in November of 2014. By April of 2015, we were already living together and engaged soon after. Everything seemed like a fairytale. That is until the summer came. That summer, he took an internship several states away and was going to be gone 3.5…

25 Things I’ve Learned in my 25 Years

After I turned 21, age didn’t mean a whole lot to me. I never feared getting older or not doing things in a particular amount of time. However as my 25th birthday approached, I found myself thinking more and more about where I am in life. I started to think about that plans I had when I was younger and how my life hadn’t followed what many might see as the traditional path. At first, I started to feel a little down until I realized that where I am is perfect for me. I am so happy with where I am and the person I have become. So in honor…

Ulta has been growing so much lately! I am in awe of all of the new brands they are carrying; like Storybook Cosmetics, Dose of Colors and Flower Beauty. Now that is it officially spring, it means that it is time for little spring cleaning and Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty. This event will go live starting March 18 and continue through April 7. Spring 2018 Swimwear

Can you believe it is already spring? I feel like it was just yesterday that we were counting down to midnight and making our New Year’s resolutions. With spring comes spring break. To me, spring break and summer means lounging by the pool, heading to the beach or days spend at music festivals. It also means it is time for some cute, new swimwear. So, I scoured the internet and put together a list of all my favorite swimwear for each price point. I also wanted to include cute cover ups, a list for us more curvy gals and my fave accessories as well. Spring 2018 Swimwear under $30: A:…

    Malyasia: Penang

For part three of our Malaysian honeymoon, we traveled north east to the little island town of George Town, Penang. If you missed my other posts, you can check them here: Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands Saturday, January 7, 2017: Today we had breakfast at the hotel again. We had the morning to ourselves, so spent time out on the patio looking at the wedding pictures our photographer sent us. Our driver picked us up around 1pm and we started the long drive to Penang. It was similar to our drive from Kuala Lumpur and we stopped at another rest stop where we had corn, dragon fruit and papaya. They really…

    Malaysia: Cameron Highlands

To celebrate our first year of marriage, my husband and I embarked on a trip with Goway to Malaysia. The first two days of our trip were spent in the capital, Kuala Lumpur. You can read all about it here. The next part of our trip took us 4 hours north to Cameron Highlands. Thursday, January 5, 2017: This morning we left Kuala Lumpur around 8:30 to drive north to Cameron Highlands. Even though it was a 4-5 hour trip, it seemed to pass quickly since our guide stopped at a few points of interest. Our first stop was at Batu Caves just outside Kuala Lumpur. The caves were amazing!…

    Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur

I have always been fascinated with the idea of traveling the world. Lucky for me, my husband shares the same passion. So, we decided for our one year wedding anniversary we would take a belated honeymoon somewhere. We weren’t sure where we wanted to go and took to Pinterest for ideas. It didn’t take long before we had decided we wanted to go somewhere in Asia. If you didn’t know, we live in the US and I have a US passport while my husband has a Lebanese passport. While looking online, we found that we both could go to Malaysia without visas. A little more research proved that it was…
