Storybook Cosmetics x Mean Girls Palette
“One time I saw Cady Heron wearing army pants and flip flops. So I bought army pants and flip flops.” If you don’t know this quote off the bat, then I’m sorry but you can’t sit with us. Just kidding… kinda ???? I don’t know about you, but Mean Girls was one of my favorite movies growing up. Recently, I even got my husband to watch it for the first time and he loved it! Its basically a classic at this point. When Storybook Cosmetics first released the idea for this plaette, I knew that I needed it in my collection. So here it is, the Mean Girls Burn Book…

Dose of Colors: Snow Angels
I have always been a colorful person, as in I once painted my entire room lime green and bright blue. While I may not exactly go for that color scheme now, I still love playing with color in my daily life. Some of my favorite colors are gem tones, especially blues and purples. When I first saw the Dose of Colors Snow Angels palette, I knew I had to have it in my collection. The Snow Angels palette features 5 matte shades with a mix of pink, purple and blue. There is also a mirror and brush included. The palette is a special holiday release for 2018 and is listed…

Kathleenlights x Colourpop: The Zodiac
????Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How I wonder what you are…???? Every since I was a little girl, I have loved the stars. I remember counting stars at night when I couldn’t sleep and the first time my husband told me he loved me was while star gazing. I find them so mysterious and have always been intrigued by star charts and the zodiac. While I may not be an expert, I find the idea that our personalities are actually written in the stars to be so romantic. When I first saw The Zodiac collection by Kathleenlights and Colourpop, I felt so inspired. At first, the colors seemed a little jumbled…

Storybook Cosmetics x Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
If you haven’t heard of Storybook Cosmetics, they are one of my absolute favorite makeup brands. All of their products are themed around different childhood stories and classic novels. Honestly, their whole aesthetic is what a book lover’s dreams are made of. Previously, I have reviewed the Wizardry and Witchcraft Palette (based on Harry Potter) and the Rose Face Brushes (inspired by Beauty and the Beast). Today, I am excited to tell you all about another palette from Storybook Cosmetics based on the novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. Where as the Wizardry and Witchcraft Palette is more smokey, the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Palette is…

Tarte Clay Play Palette
When traveling, I am pretty good at keeping my clothing, shoes and accessories to a minimum. Where my real problem is when I go to pack up my makeup. I start off thinking that I will not need much and end up with two makeup bags, a brush bag and a few random items shoved in my purse. Because of that, I am always looking for the perfect all-in-one product to help cut down on the number of items I “need” to bring with me. That’s what I was looking for when I picked up the Tarte Clay Play palette. “Define & contour your features with this universal ‘power sculpting’…

Natasha Denona Holiday 2018: Aeris
I feel like Natasha Denona eye shadow palettes are the Porsche of the beauty world. They are stunning, high quality and way beyond most peoples’ price range. When the Lila Pallet was first released, I wanted it so bad. Luckily, I found the the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette satisfied my need for purple shades. However, since the first press photo of the Aeris pallet, I couldn’t get it out of my head. I have to be honest, it was mostly the blue shade. Luckily, the Sephora VIB sale came around and the palette was in stock at my local store. This is a five pan palette and is said…

Boxycharm November 2017
Its that time again; time for Boxycharm! I didn’t write a post for last month’s because there was another mishap with my shipping address and I ended up receiving it rather late. That being said, as soon as I saw the sneak peaks for this month I was so excited! If you are unfamiliar with Boxycharm, it is a cosmetics subscription box that costs $21 per month. Each month you will receive at least 5 full sized products. Recently, they have been including things like eye shadow pallets and even a full sized Becca highlighter! One of the more unconventional items in this month’s box were the three Collagen Infused…
