Wet N Wild Catsuit Liquid Lipstick Review
I love a lipstick that can stay all day. Between work, school and my home life, I always forget to check and reapply my lipstick. I love the idea of being able to swipe on my favorite color and be able to wear in the office without a second thought. Ever since I learned about liquid lipsticks, I have been on the hub for the perfect formula. Ideally, I need something that not only stays all day but isn’t overally drying. Well, I think I’ve finally found what I’ve been searching for.
Wet n Wild is a drugstore brand sold in the US. They recently launched the Catusiy Liquid Lipstick in 13 colors: nudie patootie, nudist peach, coral corruption, pink really hard, rebel rose, give me mocha, berry recognize, nice to fuchsia, oh my dolly, flame of the game, missy and fierce, video vixen, and goth topic. I purchased all shades except for give me mocha, because it had been out of stock.
Overall, I LOVE this formula. It is pigmented and glides on easily. The applicator is unique. It has a divet that not only picks up product, but fits the contour of your lip. Each color dries down matte completely and is transfer proof. While they are a tad drying, I find them to be very comfortable through out the day and they do not over exaggerate my lip lines. The color stays vibrate and perfect all day.
I would recommend to start by exfoliating and moisturizing your lips as well as staying hydrated. Though you can wear these alone, I would recommend using a lip liner for the darker colors. It may also be helpful to use a lip brush to apply the darker colors, so as to get a clean lip line. The only colors I was not a fan of was video vixen and goth topic. They both seemed a little patchy to me.
Overall, I highly recommend this product. They are not only affordable but amazing quality. They best part is, you can usually get them on sale! CVS frequently does buy one get one 50% off and Walgreens recently had these on sale at 3 for $10.
I hope you find this review helpful! Below you will find swatches for 12 of the 13 shades (give me mocha coming soon).
Update: finally got my hands of Give Me Mocha and it is georgous! Here is a picture of all the colors swatched.
